This work was inspired by a floral arrangement I encountered in an open lounge space at Ariyasomvilla in Bangkok. The vivid orange heliconia and the delicate purple-pink bracts of Globba formed a serene yet lively balance, echoing the quiet hospitality of Bangkok’s old villa–style spaces. In Thailand, tropical arrangements featuring heliconias—often paired with the soft, clustered bracts of Globba winitii and lush tropical foliage— are created to convey warmth, welcome, and positive energy.
