Hello, I’m Nanyeon.

I work across painting, botanical illustration, and fine-line tattooing, exploring the light, rhythm, and quiet vitality found in natural forms.

 

My artist name, “Nanyeon (爛然),” is composed of two Chinese characters:

爛 (nan) — brilliant, radiant,

然 (yeon) — natural, as it is.

Together, they describe “a dazzling, beautifully radiant state.”

 

Reflecting this meaning, my practice focuses on capturing the subtle beauty held within plants—their gentle lines, shifting colors, and the soft movements shaped by light.

 

Moving between canvas and skin, I seek to trace the organic elegance of botanical forms.

Fine lines, muted tones, and fluid shapes form the core of my visual language.

 

I hope my work becomes a small, quiet bloom within your everyday life—
