During my time in Bangkok, I often visited the park in the early mornings, finding inspiration in the quiet light and the plants breathing within it. The lotus I encountered near Lumpini carried a stillness that stayed with me long after that moment. In Thailand, the lotus symbolizes purity and rebirth and is believed to protect spaces and invite good fortune. This piece records the calm I felt that morning and the gentle air of Bangkok at dawn.
