A colored-pencil work on hanji, inspired by the bougainvillea I often passed near Khaosan Road. To capture Bangkok’s lively and layered atmosphere, I brought together its many shades on a single surface. In Bangkok, bougainvillea is a flower that quietly symbolizes warmth, brightness, and resilience— a presence both vivid and enduring within the city.
