On the vanity inside the room, an orchid in a Chinese blue-and-white porcelain planter quietly came into view. The greenery drifting in from the garden, the aged wooden textures, and the orchid’s slender stems aligned like a composed scene. During my time in Bangkok, I often found myself drawn to the city’s slower rhythm and the distinct warmth of its lived spaces. The orchid held that feeling with clarity, and I wanted to capture its quiet balance and structural beauty in this work.
